Asher Kintzler | Player Profile
Riverton High School | Wyoming Premier Hoops
Position: SG/SF
Class: 2028
Asher Kintzler is one of the young players to watch coming out of Riverton High School. A talented, athletic guard/wing, Asher is starting to come into his own as a basketball player and has the tools to make a real jump this summer and next high school season.
During his 2025-26 freshman basketball season, Asher showed his ability to impact the game in multiple areas. He averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game across 25 games. Those numbers show a player who can score, rebound from the wing, create for teammates, and use his athleticism defensively.
One of his strongest performances came in Riverton’s win over Evanston, where Asher scored a season-high 17 points and helped his team secure a 60-52 victory. He also put together several other double-digit scoring games, showing that he can produce consistently when given opportunities.
What makes Asher stand out is his athletic upside. He is not just a basketball player; he is a multi-sport athlete who also competes in soccer, which shows in his movement, conditioning, footwork, and ability to cover ground. On the basketball court, that athleticism gives him the chance to be active in transition, defend multiple spots, attack gaps, and make plays above his age level.
Asher is still developing, but that is what makes his ceiling exciting. He is a young player who is gaining confidence, learning how to use his tools, and preparing to show more of his game against strong competition. This summer will be a major opportunity for him to prove himself with Wyoming Premier Hoops, and next season at Riverton High School could be a breakout year.
Asher Kintzler is a player coming into his own — athletic, competitive, improving, and ready to show Wyoming basketball what he can do.
