Cooper Cannon is a tough, competitive guard from Worland High School who brings confidence, experience and dependable two-way play to Wyoming Premier Hoops. He plays with a steady approach, understands how to contribute within a team and is willing to do the small things that help his team succeed.
Offensively, Cooper is comfortable handling the basketball, attacking gaps in the defense and creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. He plays under control, makes strong decisions with the ball and is capable of stepping forward when his team needs an important possession. His ability to put pressure on the defense allows him to create opportunities at the rim, find open teammates and help keep the offense organized.
Cooper is also a committed defender who competes with effort and physicality. He takes pride in staying in front of his assignment, communicating with teammates and making opposing guards work for every opportunity. His toughness and willingness to compete on both ends of the floor make him a reliable presence in the lineup.
During his senior season at Worland High School, Cooper earned 3A West All-Conference honors and was selected to represent the North team in the 2026 Wyoming Coaches Foundation All-Star Game. He produced several important performances for the Warriors, including a 19-point outing in a conference victory over Cody.
Cooper also demonstrated his ability to perform in pressure situations. His game-winning layup with 2.3 seconds remaining against Cody helped Worland secure a 32–30 regional victory and earn a place in the 2026 state tournament. Moments like that reflect his confidence, composure and willingness to accept responsibility when the game is on the line.
As a member of Wyoming Premier Hoops 19U Select, Cooper brings leadership, maturity and a team-first mentality to The Pack. He adds another experienced ball handler who can defend, create offense and compete against strong competition. His approach to the game fits the Wyoming Premier standard: play hard, remain coachable, support your teammates and compete every possession.
Cooper continues to develop his complete game while representing Worland basketball and Wyoming Premier Hoops with pride. His toughness, basketball IQ and ability to deliver in important moments make him a valuable part of the 19U Select roster.
