Your Next Step

How Joining Works

The player interest form starts the conversation. It does not guarantee a roster spot, but it gives coaches the information needed to review the right opportunity.

1

Choose A Team

Start with the pathway that best matches the player’s age, experience and goals.

2

Submit Interest

Share player details, experience, availability, position and family contact information.

3

Coach Review

Coaches review readiness, team needs, commitment, position fit and program standards.

4

Evaluation

Qualified players may receive workout, practice, tryout or evaluation information.

5

Roster Decision

Selected players receive expectations, schedule information and clear next steps.

Players + Families

Know The Commitment

Travel basketball works when players and families understand what is expected before accepting a roster opportunity.

Attendance + Communication

Players should be present and prepared. Families should communicate conflicts early and respond to team updates.

Travel + Costs

Depending on the team and schedule, families may be responsible for uniforms, fees, transportation, lodging and meals.

Playing Time + Conduct

Minutes are earned through preparation, effort, execution, attitude, attendance, role acceptance and team needs.

Talent Gets Attention. Commitment Earns A Spot.

Wyoming Premier Hoops is looking for players who want to improve, compete, accept coaching, support teammates and represent the program with pride.

Quick Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the player interest form guarantee a roster spot?

No. It begins the review process. Final decisions depend on team needs, position fit, readiness, commitment, availability and program standards.

Can players from outside Riverton join?

Yes. The program serves athletes from Riverton, Fremont County and communities across Wyoming when travel and scheduling are manageable.

What ages does the program serve?

The program generally serves players ages 14–19. Exact placement depends on the available team, experience, position, maturity and competitive readiness.

Can a younger player compete with an older team?

Possibly. Playing up is reviewed individually and is never automatic. Coaches consider skill, basketball IQ, physical readiness, maturity, safety, team needs and event rules.

What happens after the form is submitted?

Coaches review the information and contact families when there is a fitting workout, evaluation, tryout, roster opening or other next step.
