A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.

(Denver, CO) – The local AAU basketball team, Wyoming Premier Hoops, won the GTE USA SUMMER SLAM Mountain West Tournament this past weekend in Denver.

They went 4-0 over the weekend of June 22-23, capping it off with a 46-37 win over the Milford Legends, shared coach Eric Smith.

The tournament MVP was Malachi Smith, who scored an average of 15.5 points and 8 rebounds per game.

River Whiteplume, Eric Smith Jr., Ayden Kelley, Branden Monroe, Ned Nelson, and Trenton Weber played huge roles in winning the tournament as well.
